ABC Cake Class Schedule

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES. You must register and pay for all classes 3 days in advance.

Classes must be paid for when you register (NO EXCEPTIONS). If you are signed up for a class, and don't cancel within 72 hours
(3 days)of the class start time, your fee is non-refundable.
Classes not meeting the minimum enrollment 48 hours in advance will be cancelled and you will be notified. In that case, your fee will be refunded to you, or transferred to another class.
If you miss the first of a 4 week class you will not be able to take the rest of the class. Please note you must be sixteen to take the adult classes.
Classes are subject to cancellation unless at least THREE students register.

Fondant Basics - With Terrie

Skill Level: Beginner
Class age is 16 and up. 11-15 year olds may take the class with an adult
If you have never worked with Fondant and would love to learn, this is the perfect introduction class for you.
Learn the basics of working with fondant from preparation to coloring to covering a cake.
In class we will level, fill, crumb coat and cover a cake with fondant
Class fee is $40.00 plus supplies

Bring to class:
Two 8X2 inch baked cakes(in pans) or 8x4 styrofoam dummy (round or square)
Two 10inch Cake Boards covered with foil
One 10 inch cake box
Buttercream Icing
Cake filling(optional)
5 lbs White Fondant
1 day/night class

Gelatin Bow with Terrie

Discover the wonderful world of gelatin! Learn just how fun and easy it is to create these translucent gelatin cake toppers. Students will learn the gelatin basics from blooming the gelatin to painting the impression sheets while creating a translucent package bow. Please bring an apron and a 6" container to take your bow home.
The fee is $50.00 and all supplies are provided for the class. Class age is 16 and up. 11-15 year olds may take the class with an adult. 1 day/night class.

Gumpaste Fun with Erika

Class age is 16 and up.

This is a four week class in which you will be introduced to gum paste properties and uses.
You will learn to do a bow, a small stiletto and a rose arrangement. If you miss the first class you will not be able to take the rest of the class.
The fee is $45.00 and some tools and supplies will be provided. Students will need to bring one lb of gumpaste and a small box to the first class. A complete supply list will be given out at first class.

Valentine Cake Pops with Ragni

Skill Level: Beginner
Must be at least 16 years old.

Learn the basics of the very popular cake pops. Come decorate 12 cake pops for your special Valentine.

"Terrie's Fun with Isomalt

This a three hour class in which you will learn tips and tecniques for working with the new isomalt sticks.
Add "bling and dimension" to your cakes. The fee is $75.00 and all supplies will be provided except for "gloves" needed to work with isomalt.
Please bring an apron, a 6" box to take finished piece home and the gloves(which can be purchased in the shoppe) Must be at least 16 years old.

Erika's Gumpaste Peony -->

This is a two day class in which you will learn to make a beautiful gumpaste Peony.
The fee is $60.00 and all tools and some supplies will be provided. Students will need to bring: 2 lbs of gumpaste (not Wilton brand),an apron and small container to take peony home.

The Beginning Cake Decorating classes are 2 hours each, one time a week for 4 weeks. If you miss the first class you will not be able to take the rest of the class. Class age is 16 and up. 11-15 year olds may take the class with an adult

Must have taken Beginning Decorating Class.
Class age is 16 and up. 11-15 year olds may take the class with an adult
All Intermediate Cake Decorating classes are 2 hours each, one time a week for 4 weeks. If you miss the first class you will not be able to take the rest of the class. Please bring a container to take your royal icing flowers home.
You must register for the class in advance, class cost is $40.00 plus supplies and you get a 10% discount on all supplies purchased while you are a student!

Advanced Cake Decorating

All Advanced Cake Decorating classes are 2 hours each, one time a week for 4 weeks. If you miss the first class you will not be able to take the rest of the class.
Must have taken Beginning Decorating and Intermediate Decorating Class.
Class age is 16 and up. 11-15 year olds may take the class with an adult
You must register for the class in advance, class cost is $40.00 plus supplies and you get a 10%discount on all supplies purchased while you are a student!

Wednesday January 25th, 9:30am - 11:30am

All Cake Decorating classes are 2 hours each, one time a week for 4 weeks. If you miss the first class you will not be able to take the rest of the class. Rose nail

Decorating bags

Spatulas

Turntable

Cake comb

Drape Markers

Scissors

Icing colors

And, of course, an apron :)

Each class has its own specific supplies that will be identified in the first night of each class.
